How We Review

Every game covered on goreboxapk.com is tested on real phones before its download information is published. Anton Kruger installs the game himself, plays it the way a sandbox player would across multiple sessions, and only then is the version listed with its file size and compatibility details.

Each review works through the same set of checks, in the same order, so versions can be compared fairly. The game is installed cleanly from its file, its settings and defaults are recorded, performance is tested in busy scenes, storage and save behaviour are checked, and the file goes through a safety scan. When a new version lands, the checks are run again before the listing is updated.

Our method

Every game covered on goreboxapk.com is tested on real phones before its download information is published. Anton Kruger installs the game himself, plays it across multiple sessions, and only then is the version listed with its file size and compatibility details.

Each review works through the same checks in the same order: a clean install from the file, settings and defaults recorded, performance in busy scenes, storage and save behaviour, and a safety scan of the file.

Test phones

Samsung Galaxy A55 (Android 15), Google Pixel 8 (Android 16), Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14), Infinix Note 40 Pro (Android 14) and Samsung Galaxy A13 (Android 12). The mix covers current, mid-range and older hardware, so results reflect the phones readers actually use.

Update re-checks

When a new version lands, the checks are run again before the listing is updated. Reviews on this site are carried out by Anton Kruger, Android Games Reviewer.
